“best new business ideas”

I don’t think that Google hates affiliate sites (that does not mean that I don’t believe they favor brands – immensely). But what I believe they do hate is non-unique crap that is usually only promoted by getting low-quality links (because, what quality site wants to link to something that has no value add?).

I know you must recognize what a truly great opportunity this is! You can have a full-functional website with multiple income streams, as well as automatic machinery in place to close and drive sales & traffic for you!

Fantastic opportunity serving visitors to the most spectacular “rail trail” system in North America, named a “Hall of Fame” trail by the Rail-to-Trail Conservancy. Over 40,000 bike riders visit during the summer months growing! New section of trail just opened. This underserved recreational area needs a good business offering bike rentals, sales, and service. Shuttle service and catering also a possibility. Also great potential for bike tours in the summer and snowmobile tours/rentals in the winter. A large portion of the trail is open for snowmobile use in the winter. This offer consists of a 2,400 sf commercial building in western Montana on the I-90 frontage road right across the highway from the rail trail. Easy access to the property from I-90 in both directions with two enormous billboard signs facing each direction. The building has a 720 sf “showroom” with walls covered with pegboard and a heated bathroom. A 480 sf shop space next to the “showroom” has a workbench, shelving, and two overhead doors. The rest of the building is currently configured for storage. Property also has a good well for running water and new septic system. Space for the two 48ft billboard signs is currently being leased by an advertising company. The lease will be up in Feb 2020. Building comes with 1.85 acres of land with about 425 feet of frontage. Also another half acre of easement along the frontage can be used for parking. There are numerous potential opportunities for someone interested in owning a bike rental/sales/repair business and shuttle service in this beautiful area. I’ve done quite a bit if research on the trails and potential opportunities, and would be happy to discuss with anyone interested in purchasing the property. Isabel Raine thought she had everything–a successful career, a supportive family, and a happy marriage to the man she loved. Then one ordinary morning, her husband, Marcus, picks up his briefcase, kisses her good-bye, and simply vanishes.

That’s about 56% more likely than the lifetime risk of dying while riding inside a car, truck, or van. It’s also more than 11 times as high as dying from any force of nature, such as a hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, or lightning strike.

“For F. Scott Fitzgerald fans wanting a thrill that readers of his time were denied… Part of the charm of this anthology is that the stories appear without the censorship to which they might have been subjected.”–James McGrath Morris “Dallas Morning News ”

I was a bit reluctant in the beginning regarding opting for a company that we hadn’t known beforehand and who didn’t belong to our region; nonetheless I must say that I am overly impressed with the product and service of your company as well as the advice provided to us.

Name recognition and an established reputation are other advantages of many turnkey operations, and can make marketing efforts easier once the business opens. People are much more likely to patronize a business they’ve heard of before.

Charge a monthly or annual fee to offer members access to exclusive advice or products. Sell your expertise through exclusive podcasts, offering live FAQ sessions through Skype, or forums. You may want to try selling a monthly subscription to allow users to sample new products, similar to a book club. Frequent interaction increases interest and helps build membership through word-of-mouth.

These are the five major systems of a turnkey business. I want to encourage you as a business owner to build it, document it, and train people to operate it. If you document it well with checklists and measurable outcomes, you can train people to do it with excellence every single time.

Equally as important, a sampling event gives you the opportunity to gauge the taste profile of your average consumer. Partner with a variety of vendors to offer free samples, and see what does and doesn’t work. Armed with this knowledge, you’ll be better able to create a product mix that your consumers will love.

Lending Club is a popular P2P lending website that is a great place to start. Take your interest income as cash on the side, or invest your money into an IRA account. With only $1,000 needed to get started, the choice is yours!

Purchasing an existing independent business also requires careful investigation.  It is important to find out why the business is for sale – the company may have recently lost a large contract, have a huge tax liability, or otherwise be in decline due to competition or other factors.

For anyone thinking of renting out their place via AirBnB, just check to make sure that it is legal where you live. I live in NYC and AirBnB is illegal here because a short-term rental for under 30 days is only allowed if you are a legal hotel. If caught renting or even advertising your home within the five boroughs of NYC on AirBnB, you could incur heavy fines for running an illegal hotel. Plus, most neighbors in apartment buildings don’t want strangers tramping in and out of their buildings all the time, so there could be trouble from people making complaints. So, check the laws where you live if that’s what you want to do!

Still, there are flashes of brilliance. The earliest story, “The I.O.U.,” written in 1920, is a funny satire of the publishing business. Its narrator, a craven publisher, describes his literary mandate in a sentence perched wonderfully on three simple adjectives — long, young, and old: “I accept long novels about young love written by old maids in South Dakota.” When challenged about the veracity of one of his books, the publisher equivocates hilariously, “Non-fiction is a form of literature that lies half-way between fiction and fact.” Although unpublished in Fitzgerald’s lifetime, Yale University paid $194,500 in 2012 for the manuscript, and The New Yorker ran “I.O.U.” this past March — both way too late, alas, to help poor Scott.
